No 3 - SPOTLIGHT ON ... "One bedroom Superior Apartments"
With ongoing refurbishment we're sure you’ll be tempted to come back again. In each issue of our newsletter, we'll highlight some comprehensive information about our different apartment types.
We've eight one bedroom superior apartments, two on each upper floor of the main building. The two on the top floor were completely refurbished in 2008, the other six had a facelift to the bedroom.
Each one bedroom superior apartment faces onto Edinburgh Castle and for a short time only, all have great views of the Castle. Visit us soon before the view is gone!
Each apartment has a spacious, well laid out lounge, full kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with queen or twin beds. The kitchens feature Karndean flooring and have Neff integrated appliances including a washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, oven and hob. The lounge has a dining area for two persons, two armchairs and a spacious sofa or sofa bed. Entertainment is provided with a Sony 32" HD LCD TV, DVD recorder and over 100 TV channels including SKY Sports. There is also a Sony Hi-Fi with an extension speaker in the bathroom so you can relax in the bath and listen to your favourite tracks. We of course provide a selection of CD's and a huge DVD lend library. The bedrooms are modern and comfortable with beds made to our specification.
There is also a second 19" LCD TV with built in DVD player which also shows premium TV channels. The fully tiled bathroom has a bath with a powerful shower over, heat resisting mirror, and a heated towel rail independent of the gas central heating. Furnished throughout in bespoke cherry furniture, these warm and inviting apartments are of course fully double glazed for these cold winter nights.
No 4 - WINTER WONDERLAND
In the winter, Edinburgh sparkles...and never more so than during Edinburgh's Winter Festival which runs from Thursday 27 November 2008 to Sunday 4 January 2009. Featuring time-honoured favourites such as, the Edinburgh Wheel and the Christmas Carousel, as well as the hugely popular Traditional Christmas Markets.
There's the German Christmas market, with its magnificent castle backdrop, consisting of 25 little wooden cabins each brightly illuminated with all of the usual seasonal trimmings. The aim of the market is to bring an authentic continental experience that locals and tourists to Edinburgh can all enjoy. Simply magical!
