JUNE 2012 - THe Knight Residence is tops for customer service - again!
The Knight Residence has the best customer service in Scotland’s serviced apartments sector, according to judges of the Scottish Hotel Awards.
As well as being rated tops for customer service the 28 apartment complex in central Edinburgh took Gold Medals for Hospitality, Management, Business Performance and Housekeeping at the Awards, presented in front of 450 guests at a black tie event at Glasgow’s Thistle Hotel.
The Hospitality Medal went to Deputy Manager Christopher Michaels, the Management medal to Assistant Manager Kevin Drummond (pictured), and Head Housekeeper Maureen McCulloch won a Superstar Housekeeper Gold Medal, while General Manager Colin Stone collected a Business Performance award.
“Our team pulls out all the stops to look after guests from the moment they book until the moment they leave. That’s why so many return time after time,” said Colin.
The Knight Residence also took the Customer Care Award for Serviced Apartments and two other awards in the Scottish Hotel Awards in 2011. For the past four years in succession it has been voted among the top 500 accommodation places in the world by guests reviewing for travel specialist Expedia.
