Eating in

The apartments at The Knight Residence each have fully fitted kitchens. A full size oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge with generous freezer compartment are complimented with a full dinner service and every utensil from baking tray to garlic press.

Should you prefer to dine at home, but not to cook, you will find in your apartment the menus of various Restaurants in our locality who offer home delivery. This includes Mexican, Italian, Thai, Chinese, Indian and many more. We provide a Welcome Basket including a selection of light breakfast items for your first few mornings.

Edinburgh has a multitude of Restaurants, many within a short walk of The Knight Residence. Please note: It is always advisable to reserve a table in advance, particularly on Friday or Saturday evening. Groceries

There is a 24 hour convenience store located within 150 metres of The Knight Residence. This stocks a wide range of essential items. During daytime hours, the immediate locality contains a good range of local shops including grocers, fruit merchants, butcher, fishmonger and delicatessen.

Should you not be inclined to shop for groceries, why not order online in advance of your stay. Both Tesco and Asda deliver in our area, both have a huge range of food and beverages which can be delivered to your apartment prior to your arrival.

It is quick to register and easy to shop, just remember to give our address and telephone number. Finally, only get delivery on the day you are due to arrive after 11.00am. This means we can put your shopping straight into your apartment - we have no other facilities to store fresh or frozen goods.
